About This Event

I am excited to announce our first acrylic pour painting workshop. Artist Kelly Rancipher from Creative Chaos by Kelly will be guiding you through creating your very own “flip cup” acrylic pour painting.  You will get to choose 3 colors and black or white paint for your painting.

We have aprons for you to borrow but please don\'t wear anything you can\'t get paint on as this can be a messy process.

The cost for this workshop is $35 per person and is limited to 4 participants for proper social distancing. All ages welcome. Humans 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult human 18 or older. All supplies needed for the pour painting workshop are included in the $35 fee.

Please note you can transport your painting home the day of the workshop in a pizza box that we will provide as part of your workshop fee. The box will prevent dust from getting on your painting and paint from getting in your car. If you choose to take your painting home on the day of the workshop, please note the paint will be wet (fluid) for 48 hours and can move when you are driving. This can result in your painting changing, though that could make for some interesting art too. Or you can come back to Lost & Found Crafts and pick it up after 48 hours during our open hours.

The painting when dry may have a matte finish. If you would like a clear glossy finish applied to your artwork you can bring it back to the studio after 4 weeks of drying and I would be happy to apply the gloss to your artwork for an additional $4. The initial drying time for each piece of art is 4 weeks. It may appear dry on the outside before 4 weeks but is wet underneath and could result in molding if a glossy finish is applied prior to proper drying time of 4 weeks.
